what are your business hours?
In the summer, we’re open every day from 10 AM to 6 PM, soaking up the sun and ready to help you out! But once October comes around, we take Tuesdays off for a little breather—everyone needs a break, right? The rest of the week, you can find us from 10 AM to 5 PM, all set to share some good vibes!
Do you have parking available?
We share our private parking lot with the other businesses at Schooner Wharf, so it's like game of musical chairs when it comes to parking! In Mystic, finding a parking spot can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack, especially in the summer when everyone and their dog is here. If you're renting from us, make sure you leave plenty of time to navigate the traffic and snag that elusive parking spot!
My child wants to go paddling, but I don’t want to; do I have to go with them?
Kids under 18 need a parental sidekick—no solo missions allowed!
What are the age requirements for going in a rental?
Hey there! Little adventurers need to be at least 3 years old to join fun. And just a heads up, anyone under the age of 18, need to have a parental sidekick.
when do you stop renting watersports?
Well, it all hinges on Mother Nature's mood! We like to keep the rentals flowing, but once the water starts feeling like an ice bath, we say, "Thanks, but no thanks!" and hang up our rental hats!
Do you have a restroom?
We regret to inform you that we don't have a restroom on-site. But fear not! Public restrooms are just a hop, skip, and a jump away at Mystic River Park on Cottrell Street, about a 4-minute stroll from us. So, please do yourself a favor and take care of business BEFORE you check in for your reservation! Your bladder will thank you!
Do I have to make a reservation online to rent?
Yes, all rentals must be reserved online, even if you were to
walk-in. This helps to keep track of our inventory.
Can I launch my paddleboard/kayak from your launch?
Sadly, our launch is a bit of a VIP affair. But don’t fret! For every rental, you can unleash your very own vessel into the wild seas. But, if you’re feeling adventurous, there are a few public launch spots in Mystic—just check out Isham Street, Water Street, and Road.
What is your cancellation policy?
Want to keep your hard-earned cash? Make sure to cancel your holiday and weekend plans (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) at least 48 hours in advance for a full refund. Weekday warriors (Monday to Thursday) only need to give us a 24-hour heads-up. But! Same-day cancellations or no-shows will leave your wallet feeling lonely—no refunds there! Remember, to snag that refund, you’ll need to chat with one of our fabulous team members.
When should I arrive for my reservation?
Hey there! Please get here about 15 minutes before your reservation to check in. Remember, your reservation kicks off at the time you reserve for, NOT when you get in the water. And don’t forget—make sure everyone has their rental waivers filled out before checking in!
